Internet safety for kids

This program is presented by the Metro-LEC Computer Crime Unit (CCU) and in 2005 was taught to the 7th grade at the Dedham Middle School by CCU Member Detective John Connolly. In 2006, it is planned to include the 6th grade in the Internet Safety class.

In today's world, the internet is becoming apart of a child's everyday life. The class is designed to show kids that the internet can be fun but that they must also be smart when using it. The class explains to the kids the dangers of giving out personal information online and about letting a parent/or guardian know who they are talking to.
