Detective Division

The Dedham Bureau of Criminal Investigation is headed by Lt. Det. Francis Bielawski. The unit initiates proactive criminal investigations and does follow-up investigations on criminal offenses reported in the community. All members of the detective division are members of Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime Task Force, or NORPAC which is a multi-agency unit comprised of police detectives from fourteen police departments in Norfolk County.
