Mission Statement

The primary purpose of the Dedham Police Department is to provide a high level of safety, security, and service for all members of the community.

As a regulatory agency of local government, the Dedham Police Department has a direct responsibilty for the preservation of the public peace; for the reduction of the opportunity to commit crime; and for the effective delivery of a wide variety of police services.
